Our aim is to provide you with the best care throughout pregnancy, childbirth and the postnatal period.
We understand that having a baby can be an exciting but sometimes daunting time in life and so our whole team, from the cleaners through to senior clinical teams, are committed to ensuring you have the best possible experience with the right support for you.
Every year The Jessop Wing looks after approximately 6500 women from across Sheffield and the wider region and it is our privilege to care for you.

We have a brand new self-referral form for newly pregnant women in Sheffield!
Please be aware that this referral form is only for people who live in Sheffield, have a Sheffield GP and want to give birth with us. If referring from outside of Sheffield, contact your local hospital/GP who will refer on your behalf.

Call the Maternity Assessment Centre Telephone Triage
For any concerns regarding your pregnancy up until 6 weeks after the birth of your baby.
A midwife is available to speak with you 24 hours a day via the Maternity Assessment Centre telephone triage line 0114 2268091, if you have concerns you are welcome to attend the Maternity Assessment Centre at the Jessop Wing for assessment.
